UK/EU GPSR Notice

Since the UK/EU GPSR product safety law went into effect in 2024, many categories have been blocked from shipping into the UK/EU unless they have the special product safety markings. The GPSR requires that all consumer products on the UK/EU markets are safe and it establishes specific obligations for businesses to ensure it.

Cougars Unlimited LLC products are not consumer products but repair parts for classic cars intended for installation by trained, qualified automotive professionals and enthusiasts. Each part is designed to automotive standards and tested thoroughly for safety and reliability. Thousands of these parts have been sold to customers, not only in the US, but all over the world and have never had a safety problem. They are safe and reliable.

Due to the high cost for a small business of implementing these requirements, it is impractical to comply with these onerous regulations. Therefore, effective immediately, these parts will be no longer be available for shipment to the UK and subscribing EU countries.
